- •History Saint Vincent Archabbey and College was founded in 1846 by Boniface Wimmer OSB , a monk from Metten Abbey in Bavaria.
- •On April 18, 1870, the Pennsylvania state legislature incorporated the school as a college, "Saint Vincent College".
- •On January 28, 1963 a fire destroyed many of the buildings on campus including a student chapel and a bell tower.
